Licence.co.za, a cutting-edge Tech company has launched a new Mobile App that allows motorists across South Africa to renew and pay for their licence disk at the click of a button via their smartphone. With over 2.4 million motorists renewing their licence disks annually, this service will enable them to save time by avoiding long queues, fines and penalties for late renewal.

Covid-19 has also accelerated growth in the digital and eCommerce sectors, with more consumers preferring to shop and access essential services online. The licence renewal app comes as an answer to the cry of many who have been trying to juggle their busy schedules and trying to get time to renew their licence disks.
The full renewal process, including payment, will be done via the mobile app, with the disk being delivered to your doorstep,” Said the Licence.co.za CEO. Your vehicle licence disc renewal payment will include the following, which is automatically added to your payment amount:
- The amount for the licence renewal
- A licence disc renewal admin fee of R289 (including VAT)
- Delivery Fee R99
Payment is done via the following ways:
- EFT
- Online Card Payment
- Payfast
Once confirmation of payment has been received, the company will process the renewal on your behalf and have it delivered to your address in 2-3 working days within Gauteng.
How the App works
- Step 1
Download and register on the mobile app using your smartphone. Click here to Download.
- Step 2
Set up your profile, add your vehicles, capture your renewals and wait for your renewal cost to be updated.
- Step 3
Proceed to make a payment using any of the secure payment methods available on our Mobile App.
- Step 4
We will process and courier your vehicle licence disk in 2-3 business days.
How to set up a profile?
Once on the Licence.co.za Mobile App, provide your details and set up your password to complete your profile. Once your profile has been set up, you can add the details of your vehicle(s) to the Vehicles section on the App. You’ll also receive renewal notifications before your disc expires on the app or via SMS and Email.

- A clear image of the owner's ID document or card.
- A clear image of your existing licence disk.
Business
- A clear image of the proxy ID document or card.
- A clear image of your existing licence disk.
- A clear image of the BRNC certificate.
